Neil Conway, PhD Candidate at UC Berkeley

Neil Conway is a fifth-year PhD Candidate at UC Berkeley, where he works with Prof. Joe Hellerstein, who keynoted at last year's RICON. Neil's research focuses on how high-level, declarative languages can be used to write distributed systems. Before graduate school, Neil was a major contributor to PostgreSQL and an early employee at Truviso, where he helped design and implement Truviso's stream processing engine.
